William Henry Spaull (1839–1915)


Architect based in Oswestry. W.H. Spaull was born in Colchester and seems to have been based in Shropshire/mid-Wales by the 1860s.

He designed chapels in mid-Wales at Bala, Machynlleth and Montgomery, the Calvinistic Methodist College at Bala as well as the railway station at Newtown and the Market Hall in Dolgellau. Spaull also renovated several Anglican churches.
